Recently, Chang’an University, Qingdao University of Technology, Soochow University, Xiamen University jointly organized, Qingdao North Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. co-organized the 2019 "Famous City Four Schools" architecture professional graduation design to hold a final defense at Xiamen University.
The joint graduation design was jointly selected by the School of Architecture and Urban-Rural Planning of Qingdao University of Technology and Qingdao North Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. The design title was “Architectural Design of Qingdao Guangxingli Liyuan Cultural Center”. The joint launching ceremony and the preliminary research session were organized by Qingdao University of Technology, and the mid-term presentation was held at Soochow University. The final presentation was conducted at Xiamen University.
The architectural design of Qingdao Guangxingli Liyuan Cultural Center focuses on the protection and utilization of Qingdao Guangxingli Liyuan, pays attention to the urban renewal of Qingdao's old city, and proposes ideas and strategies for further enhancing the city's vitality and creating a beautiful city life in Qingdao's old city. Li Ling and Gao Yuanyuan, from the Department of Architecture, led 8 students to participate in this joint design.
