The 26th contemporary Chinese Architectural Forum was successfully held on October 26th-27th,2019, in chang’an university. The conference theme is “Share Re-generate”. It was hosted by the Committee of Contemporary Chinese Architectural Forum, undertaken by School of Architecture, Chang'an university, co-hosted by Shanghai branch of Beijing CCI Architectural Design Co., LTD., Xi’an City Planning & Design Institute, Urban Planning & Design Institute of Chang’an university, GDF Architecture and Xi’an Boyi Urban Planning & Design Co., LTD. On October 27, the Forum opened two parallel sub forums. On the morning of October 27th, the handover ceremony of the forum was held in Chang’an University Yanta Campus, Bosheng Conference Hall Center. Wang Xingtian, the creative organizer of CCAF, founder of NIKKO Design thanks to the participants and Chang'an University. Dai Chun, the operation director of Time·Architecture, founder of LET’S TALK Academic Forum presented the organization award to Chang'an University, and Wulian, dean of School of Architecture received the award on behalf of Chang'an University. The forum cup was handed over by Wu Lian, Dean of School of Architecture, Chang'an University, to Fan Yue, Dean of School of Architecture & Urban Planning, Shenzhen University.
The award of Excellent Organizing
The Contemporary Chinese Architectural Forum (CCAF) was founded in 1984. It was previously known as the" Modern Chinese Architectural Creation Team". It is the largest non-official architecture academic community in China. We aim at the equality, democracy and sole academy. Through more than 20 years' operation and practice, the CCAF has promoted the prosperity and activated the atmosphere of Chinese architectural design. The CCAF aims at advancing Chinese architectural design and theory, and advocating academic democracy and freedom. There are more than 200 outstanding architects and theorists joining in the CCAF. Among them, there are many CAE academicians and master architects, like Zhang Jinqiu, Zhong Xunzheng, Ma Guoxin, Qi Kang, He Jingtang, Peng Yigang, Wang Xiaodong, Cheng Taining, Meng Jianmin, Cui Kai, He Yuru, Zhou Fangzhong, Liu Keliang, Shi Kuang. The CCAF will certainly keep trying its best to promote the prosperity of Chinese architectural design, strengthen their relationship, maintain their rights and interests, improve the position of Chinese architects across the world, and spare no effort to carry forward the Chinese culture in architecture.
