In 2023, the Mid-term Defense of the Third "Silk Road Landscape" Joint Graduation Design was Successfully Held. On the morning of April 22, 2023, the mid-term defense of the third "Silk Road Landscape" joint graduation design was held online. More than 50 teachers and students from Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology, Chang'an University, Inner Mongolia University of Technology, Inner Mongolia University of Science & Technology, Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, Soochow University, Xi'an University of Technology participated in this activity.
A total of 12 groups of works participated in the mid-term defense in 2 online venues. Professor Bai Hua, Vice Dean of the School of Architecture, Teacher Liu Zixuan and Duan Yifan of the Department of Landscape Architecture organized and participated in this activity as the instructors and the host of the venue.
At the beginning of the meeting, all the teachers and students took a group photo, and then each group of students reported and listened to the teacher's comments. The defense groups combined their school characteristics and shared their unique opinions on the topic from different angles. The teachers in various colleges and universities fully affirmed the students’ work and report content, pointed out the existing problems at the present stage and gave corresponding guidance and suggestions. In the process of defense, the judges also fully affirmed the mid-term work of our students, thinking that the overall logic is clear, the analysis of the problem from a novel perspective, the design is systematic, the mid-term results are rich and complete, and the final results have high expectations.

The third "Silk Road Landscape" joint graduation design will enter the final stage of deepening work, and the final defense will be held at the end of May. I look forward to the students presenting wonderful design results in the final defense.
