School of Landscape Architecture and Horticulture, Southwest Forestry University Visits School of Architecture for Research and Exchange

On October 29th, a delegation of 7 people led by Wang Leiguang and Pan Qubo, vice deans of the School of Landscape Architecture and Horticulture at Southwest Forestry University, visited the School of Architecture for research and exchange. Vice deans Bai Hua and Chen Wenliang of the School of Architecture, as well as relevant teachers from the laboratory, the Department of Urban and Rural Planning, and the Department of Landscape Architecture participated in the exchange meeting.

Bai Hua extended a warm welcome to the arrival of Wang Leiguang and his delegation and introduced aspects such as an overview of the university and the college, the construction of the landscape architecture discipline, and the platform construction of laboratory construction and discipline co-construction. Chen Wenliang provided an interpretation from the aspects of urban and rural planning discipline construction, curriculum design, and inter-university cooperation. Guan Yu, the director of the laboratory, introduced the laboratory construction situation of the college.


Wang Leiguang introduced the basic situation of the School of Landscape Architecture and Horticulture at Southwest Forestry University from four major characteristic majors of the college, characteristics of discipline construction, local landscape and rural characteristic construction, preservation of characteristic seed resources, and talent introduction strategy. Pan Qubo conducted exchanges around issues such as undergraduate curriculum construction, major settings, and promoting construction through evaluation. Yang Jiao, the deputy director of the Department of Urban and Rural Planning and Architecture, introduced the university's talent introduction policy.


The two participating parties also jointly discussed issues and experiences in curriculum design, teaching staff construction, and laboratory construction. They also had in-depth exchanges on talent cultivation, discipline construction, joint graduation design, curriculum design and improvement, and school-enterprise cooperation.
