On the afternoon of January 8, a delegation of six from Southwest Minzu University School of Architecture, including Party Committee Secretary Zhao Qiqi and Vice Dean Meng Ying, visited our university for a research exchange. The meeting was attended by Hou Quanhua, Dean of the School of Architecture; Vice Deans Bai Hua and Chen Wenliang; as well as department heads and teaching administrators from the Urban and Rural Planning and Landscape Architecture departments.

Hou Quanhua extended a warm welcome to Zhao Qiqi and the delegation. He provided an overview of the university and the school, highlighting the school’s achievements over the past five years and outlining future plans.
Zhao Qiqi expressed gratitude for the warm reception from the School of Architecture at Chang’an University and introduced Southwest Minzu University School of Architecture’s overall profile, professional development, research strengths, industry-academia collaborations, and management structure.
During the meeting, both sides shared challenges and experiences in curriculum development and faculty team building. They engaged in in-depth discussions on further enhancing discipline construction, improving teaching quality, and promoting innovation in scientific research.
