On the afternoon of April 23, a delegation of six from the Shaanxi University of Technology School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, including Dean Yan Jie and Vice Dean Zhang Jing, visited the School of Architecture for an exchange and research meeting. The meeting was attended by six representatives from our school, including Party Secretary Jia Kan, Dean Hou Quanhua, Vice Dean Bai Hua, as well as department heads and faculty representatives from the Architecture and Urban and Rural Planning departments.

Dean Hou Quanhua extended a warm welcome to Dean Yan Jie and his delegation, providing a comprehensive overview of the school's development, including its significant achievements in professional development, disciplinary construction, talent cultivation, and future development plans.
Dean Yan Jie expressed gratitude for the warm reception and shared practical experiences regarding the school's general profile, program structure, specialty development, and research platforms.
During the discussion, both sides engaged in an in-depth dialogue focusing on the development of architecture and urban and rural planning programs. Key topics included Party building leadership, professional talent cultivation, faculty development, academic research, industry-academia integration, distinctive educational approaches, and management services. The meeting also featured exchanges on the dynamic optimization of the urban and rural planning program’s “five-to-four” curriculum reform and the construction of research platforms and teams.
