From March 25 to April 2, 2025, Professor He Wenfang, Associate Professor Li Ling, and Associate Professor Ma Xuan from the School of Architecture led 11 students to participate in the "China-Russia International Joint Design Camp for Green Buildings".
The "China-Russia International Joint Design Workshop for Green Buildings" was co-organized by the Shaanxi Province Green Building "Belt and Road" Joint Laboratory, the School of Architecture of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, and the Moscow State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and hosted by Irkutsk State Polytechnic University on the shores of Lake Baikal in Siberia. More than 60 teachers and students participated.
Located on the shores of Lake Baikal and the Angora River in Russia, this workshop focused on five themes: the Olympics, science and education, healthcare, multiculturalism, and artificial intelligence. Our students, working in groups of two or three, participated in field research, collaborative discussions, urban design, and architectural design across these five themes. On March 39 and April 2, the five groups held their midterm and final defenses, respectively.
This workshop further expanded the cooperation and exchanges between our college and international universities, and enhanced students' international vision and professional abilities.
